Local Activities

OUR FAVORITE RESTURANTS

Our favorite spots include The Tides Beach Club for cocktails and date night, and The Lost Fire for top-tier steaks, while its sister spot, Luca, offers lighter fare on their outdoor patio. Just 2 miles from the house, Earth at Hidden Pond, is routinely ranked among Maine's best restaurants - they also have a great spa with an outdoor pool and bar for guests! For fresh seafood, Nunan's Lobster Hut, a local institution; Casa 77, known for its Latin tapas, and Ultramar, which blends coastal flavors with bold modern twists.

 KENNEBUNKPORT

Downtown Kennebunkport offers boutiques, art galleries, ice cream shops, and waterfront dining in Dock Square. Stroll along Ocean Avenue for scenic views, hop aboard a lobster boat tour, or catch the sunset at the historic Colony Hotel. Kennebunkport is just as magical in the winter as it is in the summer. Downtown transforms for the holiday's with Christmas Prelude. From sleigh rides and skating to cozy fireside dinners and boutique shopping, there's plenty to do year-round.

NEARBY BEACHES

Just a short drive away, Goose Rocks Beach offers 3 miles of shallow shoreline making it ideal for young families. Its calm waters are perfect for swimming, wading, and exploring tide pools with the little ones. Unlike the more crowded beaches near Dock Square, Goose Rocks Beach offers a quieter, more relaxed vibe with stunning views of Timber Island.

FOR THE FAMILY

Visit the Seaside Trolley Museum for rides on vintage streetcars or explore the walking trails at Eamon's Preserve. In nearby Saco, Funtown Splashtown is a must visit with roller coasters, water slides, and rides for all ages. A day trip to Portland offers endless family fun just 35 minutes away. Kids love the exhibits and sea creatures at The Children's Museum of Maine.
